Kris Winders MSPT, CMP
Founder, Specialist Physical Therapist
Kris has worked as an outpatient physical therapist since graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2006. From 2008-2015 he was Clinic Manager of an outpatient clinic on Daniel Island, South Carolina. During his time in South Carolina, Kris gained experience in all aspects of outpatient therapy, and worked with a wide range of clients from children to geriatrics. He also picked up a certification as a Mulligan Practitioner, one of only 3 physical therapists in KY with this certification.
Kris is very familiar with the Lexington community, as he is a 2002 graduate of Transylvania University. He’s extremely grateful for the opportunity to share his knowledge and passion for injury prevention and recovery with Lexington, and he and his wife are excited to raise their 2 boys in the Big Blue Nation. He prides himself in running a clinic that is friendly, upbeat, and fun. Just because you’re in pain, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time! He is honored that you’ll allow him to assist you on your path to healing, hopefully helping you smile along the way.

Courtney Mason
DPT, Old Todd's Rd Clinic Manager
Courtney is an orthopedic physical therapist with special interests in the treatment of chronic and nerve pain management, non-professional dancers, and weekend warriors. Courtney received her Bachelor's of Science in Health & Exercise Science from Wake Forest University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Upon completion of her doctorate degree, Courtney pursued speciality training at Mercer University in Atlanta, GA, which distinguishes her among only 10% of physical therapists that complete this training. She also served as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Mercer, teaching in their physical therapy program. Courtney completed part of her training during physical therapy school with BBN Physical Therapy and is proud to return to the company at the Old Todd's Road location. Outside of the clinic, Courtney enjoys yoga and hiking with her husband, Spencer, and her dogs.

Rebecca Cross
PTA, Old Todd's Rd Clinic
Rebecca grew up in Campbellsville, KY but moved to Lexington to earn her bacholors in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from the University of Kentucky in 2018. Upon graduating, Rebecca started working at the Southland Drive location in various roles from front desk administration to PT tech. Rebecca loved interacting with patients and helping them reach their goals so much that she decided to go back to school. Rebecca earned her Physical Therapist Assistant certification in May of 2022 and joined the Old Todds location in July of 2022. Outside of work, Rebecca loved spending time with her family, working out and playing with her goldendoodle.

Kelsey Karnes
DPT, Director of Women's Health
Kelsey grew up in Paducah, Kentucky but moved to Lexington to obtain an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She originally started her career in the orthopedic field, but after attending continuing education classes for women’s health, realized it was her passion. Kelsey joined the BBN Physical Therapy team in January 2020 and has absolutely loved getting to serve the women of Lexington.
She is dedicated to improving awareness of pelvic health in Lexington and surrounding areas. In her free time Kelsey enjoys serving in her local church, running, biking, swimming, and anything else that involves being outdoors. Kelsey understands how important activities like these are for quality of life and will do whatever she can to see her patients get back to the things they love!

Sarah Ehrlich
DPT, Pelvic Floor Specialist
Dr. Ehrlich (she/her) earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019 from the University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine. She joins the BBN PT Women’s Health team with proficiency in treating people with complaints of pelvic pain, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. She has a passion for “normalizing” pelvic floor physical therapy, particularly for people in peripartum and perimenopause. Dr. Ehrlich is also dedicated to patient education. She aims for her patients to feel empowered with the knowledge and skills necessary to optimize their bodies’ functions.
