Kris has worked as an outpatient physical therapist since graduating from the Medical University of South Carolina with a Master’s of Physical Therapy in 2006. From 2008-2015 he was Clinic Manager of an outpatient clinic on Daniel Island, South Carolina. During his time in South Carolina, Kris gained experience in all aspects of outpatient therapy, and worked with a wide range of clients from children to geriatrics. He also picked up a certification as a Mulligan Practitioner, one of only 3 physical therapists in KY with this certification.

Kris is very familiar with the Lexington community, as he is a 2002 graduate of Transylvania University. He’s extremely grateful for the opportunity to share his knowledge and passion for injury prevention and recovery with Lexington, and he and his wife are excited to raise their 2 boys in the Big Blue Nation. He prides himself in running a clinic that is friendly, upbeat, and fun. Just because you’re in pain, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time! He is honored that you’ll allow him to assist you on your path to healing, hopefully helping you smile along the way.

Emily Lewis
DPT, Clinic Manager
Emily grew up here in Lexington, but attended Marquette University for her undergraduate degree where she majored in communications and in elementary and middle school education.  She worked as the assistant director at Aldersgate Camp and Retreat Center for 3 years following school, prior to her decision to return to school. She received her doctor of physical therapy degree from Duke University, but she is still an avid UK fan.  She spends her free time running, hiking, camping, boating, sampling local cuisine, and practicing Michael Jackson dance moves.  She loves working with people of all ages and playing name that tune with anyone who will participate.

Kelsey grew up in Paducah, Kentucky but moved to Lexington to obtain an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She originally started her career in the orthopedic field, but after attending continuing education classes for women’s health, realized it was her passion. Kelsey joined the BBN Physical Therapy team in January 2020 and has absolutely loved getting to serve the women of Lexington.

She is dedicated to improving awareness of pelvic health in Lexington and surrounding areas. In her free time Kelsey enjoys serving in her local church, running, biking, swimming, and anything else that involves being outdoors.
